Susan Rifkin joined the Lillian and Larry Goodman Foundations as Executive Director in late 2011.

Her background in the corporate world includes financial and logistics positions with several Fortune 500 companies. In the late 1990’s, she shifted her focus to the non-profit world. Combining her personal experience in Chicago’s Jewish community with sound business training, she held management positions with Hadassah Chicago Chapter and The ARK, providing her with a strong foundation in Israel projects, as well as social issues such as hunger and mental illness.  She spends much of her spare time advocating for social welfare organizations and serving as a volunteer crisis counselor.

Susan earned her B.S. in Mathematics from DePaul University.
