The Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center
The award-winning Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center is the third largest Holocaust Museum in the world. It is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Holocaust by honoring the memories of those who were lost and by teaching universal lessons that combat hatred, prejudice and indifference.
The Goodman Foundations have supported the ILHMEC since its founding and has funded several projects within the museum including the 200-seat Goodman Auditorium, the Goodman Upstander Gallery, and the Virtual Reality Film Experience.
Larry Goodman, z”l, served on the Board of Trustees. Today, his granddaughter, Lindsey Lopatin, serves on the Board of Trustees.
